Alex Holland (me) is an award winning comedian and writer based in London.
In 2009 he won the Royal Television Society Awards for Best Undergraduate Entertainment for the comedy sketch show Best Friends That Love Each Other, which he produced, co-wrote, co-directed, and co-starred in; described as “An ambitious project that was hugely impressive and revealed massive potential in both the on and off screen talent“.
Alex performed his first stand-up comedy set in late 2008 gigging around Lincoln whilst at Uni and then back home in Norwich after graduating. In August 2010 he moved to London and attempted to osmose himself into the comedy scene, where he can currently be viewed performing at a variety of gigs. For video footage of this occurring go to the media section.
He finished his first full run at the Edinburgh Free Fringe this year (2011) with Dan Mckee and Will Howells with the show Three Man Roast which garnered a lovely 4 stars from What’s on Stage - “an extremely solid compendium of nerd-centric standup… These boys are definitely ready to graduate to a larger room”
